Springport, Michigan (5/11) – With Mother nature getting the best of the planned 2013 debut for the Drive Train Specialists Modifieds, the Speedway Entertainment Group, operators of the scenic Springport Motor Speedway, have now firmly set their sights on two big weeks meant to help the local community.
This Saturday, May 18 will see the Performance Automotive Northwest Outlaw Super Late Models make their return to the Speedway. As an added bonus, the students from Springport Elementary and Middle School have been selling tickets to help benefit the many projects undertaken by the Springport PTO. The Top Sellers will get special prizes including throwing the green flag to start the race and rides in the pace car. Also in attendance will be the Mongoose Monster Ride Truck. It will also be autograph night, the perfect chance for the young race fans to get out and meet the stars of the Springport Motor Speedway up close and personal. Springport Motor Speedway has a variety of fundraising options available for any group or organization, visit our website for more information.
The following Saturday May 25 will be Kids Bike Night at the Speedway, where we will give away several new bikes to the children in attendance, donated generously by the racers and local businesses surrounding the Springport Motor Speedway.
Speedway partners that have already donated a bike include: Eaton Rapids Medical Center, Kane Heating and Cooling, Farm Bureau Insurance – Nevin Alexander Agency, T&N Dairy Kreme, Ducks Point C-Store, Beacon Sales. If you would still like to donate, be sure to contact
