Getting to know Johnny Ridley:

Favorite Racing Memory: Finishing in the money 2nd paid $165.00 in 1985 at the Florida State Fairgrounds Speedway. We were broke and were barely able to scrape up the 20.00 entry fee and a few bucks for gas.
By luck of the draw (out of a hat) for the first ever Enduro 250 at Flatrock Speedway in 1984, I started 75th out of 125 cars outside of one of my childhood heroes (Johnny Hi). I was shaking in my boots.
Many nights at East Bay Raceway in Gibsonton Florida
Racing Accomplishments: Won a 30 lap street stock feature after starting scratch (18th) after arriving to late to qualify at the Florida State Fairgrounds Speedway which was a very fast 1/2 mile dirt track.
Competitor I respect :Any that respect me and appreciates what it cost to do this.
My 2012 Racing Goals: Perfect attendance and a few wins.
