Competitor - Pit Gates Open at 1pm, Practice Starts at 2pm, Qualifying Begins at 5pm, Races Start at 7pm.
Spectators - The Front Gates open at 5pm, Opening Ceremonies at 6:50pm, Races start at 7:00pm SHARP.
Competitor - Pit Gates Open at 11am, Practice Starts at 12pm, Qualifying Begins at 2pm, Races Start at 4pm.
Spectators - The Front Gates open at 2pm, Opening Ceremonies at 3:50pm, Races start at 4:00pm SHARP.

Pit Pass wristbands can be purchased at the pit pass office, located up the driveway labeled just north of the Granstand entrance.
The Pits open on Saturday afternoons at 1pm and on Sunday''s at Noon.
All who enter must read and sign the gang waiver and release form.
Race Day - Pit Passes are $25 each for all ages, $30 on premium nights, Driver''s Kids Club Passes $15 (see Minors in Pits section for details)
Practice Day - Pit Passes are $15 each for all ages and your dinner is included.
Make sure you come up to the concession area, talk to Jeff and Pam Parish, and enjoy a meal with the Promoters.
Minors in the Pits:
Children under 18 years of age must have a full sheet minor wavier and release form signed by both parents, for entry. ·You can

NOTE -- This is an absolute must have. ·No waiver, no entry.
Please note, a special discount the the Driver''s Kids Club is offered if and when all paperwork is turned in with BOTH parent''s signatures.
The Minor will receive an ID card to present, it will be compared to a list, then the $10 discount applies.
Springport Motor Speedway parking is complementary.
SMS also has ample space for handicap parking. If you do ride your motorcycle to the race track, we have a special area of reserved parking for bikes.
For special events, reserved parking can be arranged for classic cars, or a bike club, please just call ahead to arrange.
What to Wear:
Casual attire is recommended at the speedway. Just remember, you are in the outdoors, so dress accordingly for the elements, and don’t forget the sunscreen on sunny day and jacket and blanket on cool nights. Closed toed shoes & long pants are recommended in the pit area; we also require you to wear a shirt and shoes at all times while at the speedway. The races can get loud; ear plugs and ear muffs are available in the souvenir stand.
Springport Motor Speedway offers clean and state of the art restrooms. Granstand side is located to the south of the concession area with in the same building. Women on the east side, and Men on the West side.
In the pit area, there are lovely bathrooms to the north of the concession area with in the same building on the west side of the building
Coolers are allowed at Springport Motor Speedway.
We do require it to be a small cooler approx 10x 14 inches.
SMS features a full concession stand for your convenience. We work exceptionally hard to provide the highest quality, best value concession and drink menu in Michigan Short Track Racing. We hope you will visit us and give us the opportunity to earn your business. We aim to have excellent quality food comparable to a fast food restaurants pricing.
Located directly behind the main grandstand is our concession stand. Springport Motor Speedway is personally managed by the Jacobs' family (Jeff''s parents) and they take great pride in providing outstanding food service. The Speedway has a souvenir stand located in the concourse area between the front ticket booth and the concession building. Here you can find all of your latest and greatest Springport Motor Speedway souvenirs & apparel. We offer programs, tee shirts, fleece sweat shirts, hats, seat backs, ear plugs, ear muffs, checkered flags for signatures, kid’s toys, flashing and/or glowing items, candy and much more. You will find SMS exclusive souvenirs only at this location. Grandma Carla spends all winter finding great little items that will fit any budget, so every race fan young and old can find something special that they will want to take home.

SMS is required to and will comply with the New State of Michigan Smoking Law. If indeed the law offends any of our patrons we are sorry but we have absolutely no choice in the matter, we must comply. If you have strong feelings for or against, we hope you will not feel that SMS agrees or disagrees with the law, when in fact like all laws we feel the best way to demonstrate our respect for all of our patrons is to follow the law to the letter of the law.
Smoking is allowed in the grandstands., and the open areas around and behind in the concourse area (with exceptions below).
Smoking is not allowed inside any of the buildings that serve food or drink, or within 15 feet of the doors, windows or ventilation. Smoking is not allowed at any designated table, where food can be consumed. This includes the bathrooms, concession area, pizza booth, Pit Concession, Pit Bathrooms, Tech Barn, hospitality tents (with tables)
Sorry, pets are not allowed in the grandstands or pits EXCEPT service dogs
Springport Motor Speedway provides camping/parking space for patrons to watch the races every race event. We do not have hookups or water. We encourage our campers to use the marked areas for their camp sites. Small fires are allowed as long as they stay contained. Please pick up after yourself to keep this available in the future.
Kiddie Bus Rides
When time allows, and the equipment is available, Kiddie Bus Rides will be available for only $1.
You will board at the Start/Finish line, take a few laps around the track, and drive into the pits to get a viewing of what goes on behind the scenes.
Passes will be for sale in the Souvenir Booth, and passes will be called by the color of the pass.
Please pay attention to when it is called, the color coding only guarantees you have a seat on the color coded ride of your pass.
Enjoy the ride! You may have a special visit of your favorite Driver jumping on board for a few minutes to say hi to the kids... remember this ride is for children AND kids at heart - all are welcome at any age.

Free Trip to the Pits:
After each and every event at the speedway, the "cold" pit area is always open. Use this time to go down and meet the drivers and the stars of Springport Motor Speedway. Bring down your cameras, pictures and sharpies and get to know these guys and gals that put on our show.
